Interface materials for widgets and HUD surfaces

UI materials in UE5 need to be predictable at many sizes. They often use masks, gradients, emissive accents, progress fills, wipe animations, panning lines, reticles, holographic panels, and damage overlays. The useful part of a UI graph is its control surface: colors, fill amount, edge width, scroll speed, and opacity should be easy to adjust without disturbing the rest of the widget.

This category covers materials meant for UMG, 3D widgets, HUD meshes, diegetic panels, and stylized interface surfaces. Good posts should avoid assuming one fixed resolution or aspect ratio unless the graph is clearly labeled for that use. Compact node groups for nine-slice borders, radial progress, scanline masks, icon glow, and hover states are valuable because they can be pasted into larger interface systems without bringing a whole art direction with them.
